I greatly appreciate KBCCC 2009 for giving me an opportunity to present my abstract "Role of sentinel lymph node biopsy in initial diagnosis of ductal carcinoma in situ" at the 1st Kyoto Breast Cancer Consensus Conference 2009 International Convention.
In addition, my team and I are honoured to have received the Poster Award. From now on, I will dedicate my daily medical treatment and continue with scientific study, aiming for the best breast cancer treatment. Thank you very much. (Translation: Mihoko Yamamoto, KBCCC)
First, I want to thank KBCCC organizers for awarding the prize to me. I am so delighted that I still cannot believe I really can receive this Poster Award. In fact, I am still not sure if I really deserve this honor, because I know many presenters who study harder even with a greater dedication than I do. I believe they also deserve this award, and I think I happen to represent them in accepting this award. I want to take this opportunity to share this honor and the pleasure with my teammates and friends in Taiwan. Thank you very much, and I will continue with scientific study of breast cancer in the future. Right now, I am looking forward to participate in the KBCCC 2010 International Convention in Kyoto.
