Kyoto Breast Cancer Research Network (KBCRN) is a research networking group consisting of medical professionals who diagnose and treat breast cancer in universities or hospitals, led by Breast Surgery Department, Kyoto University.
To improve the breast cancer treatment, KBCRN carries out (1) studies about effective diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer, (2) cooperation with international medical institutes and professionals, (3) seminars and lectures for human resources development, (4) consultation and support for families of breast cancer patients, and (5) outreach and enlightenment for citizen. KBCRN also supports activities and challenges by young researchers of breast cancer.
KBCRN collects donations called as “Kyoto Breast Cancer Fund” from individuals or organizations with their approval, and uses the donations for activities which are passed our screening. If you are interested in our philosophy and activities, your generosity and support would be highly appreciated for further development of our activities.
