Q&A

Translated Q&A Here, our clinical researchers answer the questions for the KBCRN.

Q. Are compression gloves and stockings marketed?

A. They are not yet available in stores, but may be in hospitals participating in this clinical study. Please consult your attending physician.

Q. Do the compression gloves and stockings increase or decrease blood flow?

A. Compression for 1.5 to 3 hours (depending on the drug) during anticancer drug treatment is effective in improving blood circulation. However, it is not recommended for patients with peripheral circulatory insufficiency as the compression may impede blood flow.
